Sunday, September 01, 2013

NPK Construction Equipment, Inc. now has four new PH Series hydraulic hammer models that will replace our GH-1 through GH-4 model hammers. With the introduction of the PH-Series Hydraulic Hammers, NPK maintains its commitment to incorporate the latest technological innovations in our entire product line. These new one piece body hammers are equipped with our Anti-Blank Firing feature providing longer component life. In addition, NPK’s PH Series is available with an optional fully enclosed “Enivro-Bracket”, providing reduced noise levels. Other features include a field replaceable tool bushing and a larger diameter retaining pin for ease of maintenance and longer service life. With over 45% fewer total parts than our previous models the PH Series still incorporates our popular nitrogen gas powered piston for the hardest hitting hammers in their class.

The PH-1 comes in with 350 ft. lbs. impact energy, weighs 423 lbs. and will fit a 2 to 3.5 ton carrier. The PH-2 produces 500 ft. lbs., weighs 487 lbs. and fits a carrier in the 3 to 5.5 ton class. The PH-3 will output 750 ft. lbs., weighs 825 lbs., and fits a 4 to 8 ton carrier while the PH-4 is in the 1,300 ft. lb. impact energy class, weighs 1,064 lbs. and is best matched to a carrier in the 6 to 9 ton weight class.
