Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator will support the daily functions of the Human Resource department including hiring and interviewing staff, management of system data and input, benefits, and leave, HR compliance, unemployment claims and enforcing company policies. 

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Coordinate with Human Resources Department for all recruiting purpose including but not limited to conduct pre-employment screening interviews, schedule interviews between applicants and hiring managers and check references.
  • Assist Human Resources Department with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Upload new hire documents for all employees into HRIS System (ADP).
  • Update HRIS System as needed.
  • Assists Human Resources Department with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, retirement celebrations, etc.
  • Answer employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and other HR related topics if Human Resources Manager/Generalist is unavailable.
  • Ensure all employee communication boards contain the most relevant and current information.
  • Works with the Human Resources Department to maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource and safety files, records, and documentation such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, and update HRIS System as needed.
  • Assist with various HR audits as needed.
  • Provide HR Support for other company locations as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required, associate degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT (OFFICE)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The individual needs to occasionally move about on the production shop floor.  They must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals in the office and shop.

 

Employees must regularly lift, push, pull and/or move 20 pounds.
