Meet Joe Velasquez

Joe is the latest to join NPK’s outstanding sales staff.  He is replacing Jamie Wright as the District Sales Manager of the Northwestern United States.  He will be responsible for supporting the construction equipment line in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and portions of Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, and the upper peninsula of Michigan.

In the early 1990’s while attending UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) Joe was working as a maître de at a country club.  One of the members owned an equipment dealership named BAT Rentals.  He told Joe that he believed that he could do very well in outside sales and suggested Joe go see his general manager about a job.  According to Joe, “I did not know a toaster from an excavator when I started!”  Five years later Joe became the sales manager.

“I have been in this fabulous industry for 25 years doing everything from sales, sales management, and OEM representative.  I am very grateful for all the mentors and customers I have had the pleasure to journey with.  I am very proud to be a part of the NPK family and the bright future of the entire team!”
