NPKCE Launches Demolition & Sorting Grabs

Although already known throughout Europe, NPK Construction Equipment added four models of demolition and sorting grabs to their extensive line of construction and demolition attachments.  The largest model, the DG-40, was on display at NPK’s booth at ConExpo / ConAgg where it caught a lot of attendee’s attention. 

NPK’s excavator mounted demo & sorting grabs are the perfect solution for:

Arms and frames are manufactured from high strength, wear resistant steel making them extremely durable.  A check valve, standard on all models for safety purposes, protects the arms from opening unexpectedly.  360 degree hydraulic rotation means jobs can be tackled from any angle with ease, and the access panel on the swivel bracket contains controls to alter the speed of both rotation and the opening and closing of the arms.  Cutters are both interchangeable and reversible.

NPK grabs can be configured for use in many applications.  Also, though the larger models, DG-20 and up, come standard with the double rotation motor design, a single motor alternative is offered as well.  Arms are available with differencing widths or styles, and arm and/or side covers are available for loading activities.  Heavy duty breaker plates are also an option for specialized demolition jobs.

Maintenance is straightforward due to the grab’s clear-cut design:

• minimal hydraulic components
• fully enclosed component connections, easy to access from either side of the swivel bracket
• replaceable bushings with dust seals
• grease ports are within reach from every angle
